Thanks to everyone that helped with Flower Power this year. We took on more responsibility this year in coordinating all of our Rotary Flower Power activities for clubs in the metro area.
Wednesday, February 12th six members of our club plus Flower Power manager Peter Crouse sold flowers at the Convention Center where the Denver Garden and Home Show takes place. These were the flowers that were rotated out of the gardens at the show, which we then were selling.

Sunday, February 16th was the last day of the Garden and Home show, so that afternoon/evening members from multiple clubs and youth organizations helped collect all of the flowers from the show and box them for distribution Monday morning.
The picture below is of our Broomfield High School Interact Club volunteers.

Monday, February 17th members of our club and Peter met at a parking lot at Empower Field at Mile High to help load boxes of flowers into a number of U-Haul trucks and other vehicles from clubs around the metro area. Peter was featured in a video on 9-News Kyle Clark show...the video is toward the end of the broadcast shown below.
We then had people from our club and the Broomfield evening club meet near Home Depot in Broomfield to off-load 60 boxes of flowers that were then taken to senior care facilities in the surrounding area.

Thanks everyone for your support.
