In February each year after the Colorado Garden and Home Show, a project called "Flower Power" commences. Rotarians gather the leftover flowers at the convention center, truck them to a distribution point in Broomfield, and work with members of our city's two Rotary Clubs to distribute them to nursing homes in our area. It is a joy to see how these flowers brighten the lives of the residents and staff. Michele Daniels (left), the daughter of a Broomfield Crossing Rotarian, helped to deliver the flowers to residents of the Exempla Colorado Lutheran Home in Arvada. Thanks to all who helped this year, especially Alice Kidney, who organized the event.
